Let's go to Cebu in Philippines! (1)

There are many cities in Philippines. If i choose the best one among them, i would say that is Cebu. Cebu is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines, with Cebu city as the main center of commerce, trade, education and industry in the Visayas.
The people there are using Tagalog and English is the second language so If you speak English, There is no problem in communication there.

Before going to Cebu, what do we need to prepare? The First is clothes!!!
Cebu has tropical climate' and the season is divided into two 'dry and wet season'.Dry season is roughly from December to may  and Wet season is from June to January.
In the wet season, there are heavy raining very often so It is better to go to cebu in dry season if you have no special reason to go in wet season and you mainly need to prepare some summer clothes

When we talk about travels, we can't forget medicine !!! Preparing some medicine in advance is very necessary. When you prepare medicine, that would be for the cold, fever and diarrhea. Especially, water there contains a lot of lime so many travelers have a diarrhea problem during and after two weeks coz of that. I recommend you to buy some medicine for diarrhea in advance, and whenever you wanna drink water, just buy water in convenience store or supermarket. Don't drink service water in any restaurant.  Drinking water from water filter is safe.In my case, when I stayed there for one year, i had no serious diarrhea problem but I saw the most of my friends having stomachache due to water.

Thirdly, Philippines currency are peso, not dollar but you can easily find a currency exchange office  so you don't need to worry about exchanging your money for peso but it would be helpful for you to exchange some dollars in advance in your country. Most of malls has a currency exchange office and I saw and tried some on the street but the exchange rate was not good and very doubtful. It is safe and good for you to make a deal with a currency exchange office in a big mall .

Forth, maximum staying time there is 30 days without visa.  You need to go to Bureau of Immigration to extend your visa if wanna stay more by paying for that.It was 21 days but it has been extended up to 30 days.
